In the book, “Grayisms” about the 29th Commandant of the Marine Corps General Al Gray it is written, “You cannot write a recipe for all situations” and that is where we find ourselves today with the 2020 Southern Division conference here in Tyler.

Because of the current coronavirus situation in this country, we want to make sure that we take care of our fellow Marines so for that reason we have rescheduled the Southern Division conference to May 8 & 9, 2020 at the same location and with the same schedule.

For those of you that currently have registered for the event and still plan on attending you will not need to do anything and your packet will be ready for you when you arrive. If you find that, you have a conflict with the new date please feel free to contact us by April 17th and we will be happy to refund your registration fees. If you have not registered for the event and wish to attend there will be new forms with the revised dates available on the Southern Division web page shortly.

For those of you that currently have room reservations for the event and still plan on attending you will not need to do anything and your reservations will be moved to the new dates by the hotel. If you find that, you have a conflict with the new date please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservations. If you have not reserved a room for the event and wish to attend there will be new hotel reservation forms with the revised dates available on the Southern Division web page shortly.

Sometime in April, we will send out a schedule with any revisions needed to the planned speakers and activities for the new dates. In addition, we are going to move into the new century with streaming of the speaker sessions and activities over the internet for those not able to travel. With your continued support, we will make this a conference worth your time in attending.
