It is with a heavy heart that I pass on the details for Al Kotrla funeral service. I realize that this is a very short notice, so I ask each of you to get the word out as soon as possible.

Visitation will begin this Monday the 8th of August at 5pm at Palms Funeral Home located at 2300 East Highway 35, Angleton Texas 77515. The funeral service will be this Tuesday the 9th of August starting at 1:30 pm at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston Texas 77038. The service will be limited to 15 minutes as required by the Cemetery. There will be a flag folding ceremony and a fallen Marine ceremony. Due to the short amount of time we have, we are looking at a possible restaurant close by to meet at afterwards (TBD). 

In lieu of flowers, the Kotrla family has asked to make a donation to the McLemore Detachment Marine in Need Fund so that AL can still help Marines from the Pearly Gates. Please forward your donations to: McLemore Paymaster, 4712 Cedar Hill Dr, Pearland TX 77584
